About Mariana

I am a Certified Holistic Nutritionist based in British Columbia, Canada. I have undergone continuous training to enhance my knowledge in women's health, fertility, pre-natal and post-natal care, breastfeeding, and infant nutrition.

I was born and raised in Brazil and had trouble adjusting to Canadian cuisine. Nevertheless, I always add a Brazilian touch to every dish I make. As an immigrant, I understand the difficulty in communicating concerns with language and cultural barriers, and I'll do my best to help you adapt to life in BC while addressing your health concerns.

I didn't always understand the impact of food on health and the environment. It wasn't until five years ago that I began to change. Growing up, I ate a lot of meat and deep-fried snacks, but after moving to a new country, I started experimenting with different foods and cooking methods. As I transitioned to a more plant-based diet, I noticed significant improvements in my health and well-being.

Enrolling in a Nutrition Program sparked my curiosity about the role of food in our bodies. I want to share this transformative experience with those around me.

Through studying, researching, and personal experiences with my clients, friends, and family, I have come to understand the profound impact food can have on our lives, both positively and negatively. When making recommendations, I prioritize respecting my clients' choices, realities, and limitations, recognizing that everyone is unique and fostering a relationship built on trust and understanding. I am eager to learn about your health goals and help you achieve them.
